An Expert Advisor only works while MetaTrader is running. Until now that meant keeping a computer on day and night, or renting and maintaining a VPS. With EA Hosting, Social Trade Hub runs your Expert Advisors online: you manage everything from your browser, and your robots keep trading when your computer is off.
What EA Hosting Does
You connect your MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 account, upload your Expert Advisors, and start them. From then on they run around the clock on your account, with any broker available on MetaTrader.
- MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5: compiled .ex4 and .ex5 files, with the DLLs they import
- Up to 10 robots per account: Expert Advisors or custom indicators, each on its own chart
- Your symbol and timeframe: chosen for each chart, from M1 to D1
- Nothing to install: no VPS, no Windows server, no remote desktop
Indicators Are Supported
Many Expert Advisors rely on indicators, and many traders want to see them on the chart. EA Hosting handles both:
- Your own indicators: upload a compiled .ex4 or .ex5 indicator and it is shown on its own chart
- MetaTrader's built-in indicators: Moving Average, Bollinger Bands, Parabolic SAR, RSI, MACD, Stochastic and ATR can be added to the chart of any robot, up to 8 per chart
Built-in indicators do not use one of the 10 slots of the account.
Everything From Your Browser
Inputs
The inputs of each Expert Advisor are read from your file and shown in the page, drop-down lists included. Change a value, pause a robot without removing it, or allow the web addresses a robot needs to reach (a license check, a news feed).
Chart
Each robot has its chart in the page. Scroll it, zoom, change its colors and display, and click the buttons your Expert Advisor draws on it.
Open Trades
Open positions and pending orders are shown second by second. You can close a trade from the page. The page never opens a trade: only your Expert Advisors do.
Results
Net profit, win rate, profit factor and drawdown are computed for the account and for each robot.
Notifications
You are notified when the account disconnects from the broker or when a robot stops running.
DLLs and Web Access
Expert Advisors that import DLL files are supported: send the .dll files with your robot, 32-bit for MetaTrader 4 and 64-bit for MetaTrader 5. An Expert Advisor that calls a website works once its address is listed in the settings of the account.
Price and Availability
EA Hosting costs 12.49 EUR per MetaTrader account and per month, with up to 10 robots on each account. The price is shown in your currency on the EA Hosting page. The subscription is monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
The launch is open to a limited number of accounts. The number of accounts still available is shown on the page, and new spots will be opened gradually.
